In order for this internet portal to function properly, we sometimes place small files - known as cookies - on your device. This is common practice on most major websites.
What are cookies?
A cookie is a small text file that a web portal leaves on your computer, tablet computer or smartphone when you visit it. This allows the portal to 'remember' certain entries and settings (e.g. login, language, font size and other display preferences) over a period of time, and you do not need to enter them again each time you visit and navigate the portal. How do we use cookies? On the one hand, we use cookies temporarily during the time you are using our site in order to make the use of your site more convenient for you and to enable technical features, for example a login. However, we also use cookies permanently in order to be able to maintain certain settings on our website for you. We use cookies for the use of Google Analytics as described below.
Control over cookies
You can control and - or delete cookies as you wish. You can find out how here: aboutcookies.org. You can delete all cookies stored on your computer and set most browsers to prevent cookies from being stored. However, you may then have to make some settings manually each time you visit a site and accept that some functions may be impaired.

Google Analytics uses 'cookies', which are text files placed on your computer, to help the website analyse how users use the site. The information generated by the cookie about your use of this website is usually transmitted to a Google server in the USA and stored there. On behalf of the operator of this website, Google will use this information for the purpose of evaluating your use of the website, compiling reports on website activity and providing other services relating to website activity and internet usage to the website operator. The IP address transmitted by your browser as part of Google Analytics will not be merged with other Google data. You may refuse the use of cookies by selecting the appropriate settings on your browser, however please note that if you do this you may not be able to use the full functionality of this website. You can also prevent the collection of data generated by the cookie and related to your use of the website (including your IP address) by Google and the processing of this data by Google by downloading and installing the browser plugin available at the following link https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=de.
